SUBSTITUTES
Matches can be unpredictable, and player availability changes. DotaBD supports adding Substitutes to your active roster. When adding a sub, the system runs an automatic check. Instead of a static limit, the substitute MMR is capped dynamically based on the remaining team MMR headroom: $$\text{Sub MMR Limit} \le \text{Lowest Core MMR} + \text{Remaining Headroom}$$ where Remaining Headroom is the difference between the league's max team limit and the team's active core total MMR. This allows teams flexibility while preventing high-MMR smurfs from exploiting the bench.
Furthermore, the system audits all 5-player playing combinations of core and substitute players. If any combination exceeds the league's max limit, the team is flagged, and the sub is barred from playing in those combinations. Captains can also upload MMR screenshots to prove their players' rankings, which organizers manually verify. Finally, when registering, captains copy the official bKash number, send the fee, and upload the Transaction ID (TxID) and receipt proof to transition their status from pending to verified.
