Public Game Data
DotaBD functions as a high-performance data aggregator for the Bangladeshi Dota 2 community. We process and display publicly available information from the Steam Web API and other community sources, including:
- Public Steam Profile metadata (Display names, Avatars, Unique IDs).
- In-game match statistics, historical performance, and rank progression.
- Competitive metrics such as GPM, XPM, KDA, and hero-specific mastery.
- League participation, team rosters, and tournament history.
Platform Analytics
To refine our user experience and ecosystem growth, we utilize advanced analytics (Google Analytics 4). This tracks anonymous usage patterns such as page visits, feature engagement, and navigation paths. No personally identifiable information (PII) beyond what is publicly shared on Steam is stored on our servers.
Institutional-Grade Security
Security is paramount to the DotaBD mission. We implement industry-standard encryption and security protocols to safeguard our infrastructure.
Steam OpenID Integration: Authentication is handled exclusively through Valve's secure OpenID system. DotaBD never requests, sees, or stores your Steam password. We only receive a unique identifier that allows us to link your public stats to your DotaBD profile.
